Sayuri Jayawardena, B.S.

Sayuri Jayawardena graduated from the University of Texas at Austin, studying neuroscience and minoring in English. She is now in Houston pursuing her PhD in Biochemistry and Cell Biology at Rice University. Sayuri has volunteered with LLWF since 2023 and taught classes about screenwriting, neuroscience, painting, and more. Being a part of LLwF was one of her favorite things about studying at UT Austin, and she is excited to expand the program and meet the community in her hometown of Houston!
