Fall 2026 Classes

Rice University in Houston

Lifelong Learning with Friends is coming to Houston! We are excited to bring inclusive postsecondary education to Rice University starting this Fall.

​

Just like our UT Austin branch, adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDDs) will be welcomed to campus, learning side by side with dedicated Rice student volunteers in a 1:1 ratio. Our interactive, university-based courses foster education, friendship, and community inclusion.​

In-Person Courses at Rice in Houston

In Person Course: Students will attend this course exclusively in person at Rice University in Houston campus. Exact meeting location will be provided with registered students one week before the course begins. 

Virtual Options Available to All

Both Hybrid and Virtual courses are offered to any adult with IDD regardless of geographic location. These courses   are offered live online through Zoom. 

Scholarships available

Lifelong Learning with Friends strives to remain accessible and affordable to every adult with IDD.
